20213- 2024 Season begins August 25, 2023

As we start our new journey into the world of classical music and we are looking for new young musicians who share the same passion for music to join the Sunflower Chamber Orchestra. The Sunflower Chamber Orchestra offers a safe and friendly environment where everyone is treated equally and fairly. NO AUDITIONS required, all that we ask is that students are able to read music and are within the 3rd - 12th grade and have their own instrument.

We currently have open positions  for the following with no audition: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Oboe, Clarinet, Flute, and Bassoon. If you or your child has a passion for music and would like to become a member of the Sunflower Chamber Orchestra, simply click here to fill out the form.

Financial assistance is available but limited. You can find out more about the Sunflower Chamber Orchestra by coming to an open rehearsal on Friday August 27th at 6:30 pm at the River Forest Community Center 2nd floor, 8020 Madison St. River Forest.

The Sunflower Chamber Orchestra is directed by Maestro Mohannad Al Zahabi and his assistant Eloise Meloni.
